October 14, 2016, Kazakh American Free University held a guest lecture on "Development of Mortgage and Leasing in the Republic of Kazakhstan". The lecture was held by Baurzhan A. Ramazanov, leading expert of  "KazAgroFinance" East Kazakhstan region branch; Doszhan S. Uarbek, specialist of Business Development Department of  "Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan", JSC; Yeldos A. Akhmetay, financial manager of "Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan", JSC.

Prior to the event 3rd year students majoring in Finance performed a short play on mortgage loan, followed by a Q&A session with experts.

During the guest lecture experts talked about problems relating to the subject, loans for housing and agricultural equipment, answered questions. Senior lecturer N. Tursynbekuly summed up the lecture, thanked participants and presented them with letters of thanks.
