Galina Menzyuk is Russian, has higher education, PhD in Jurisprudence, associate professor. Work experience is 27 years, including 15 years in university.


  • 1984-1989 - UKPI, major "History" with additional major "Pedagogy", qualification "Teacher of history and social science, methodologist of educational work."
  • 1993-1997 - EKSU, Law Department, major "Jurisprudence", qualification "Lawyer".

G.A. Menzyuk has excellent organizational skills, successfully organizes and supervises educational process, is actively involved in preparation of activities on school and university level. High theoretical level of her classes using research results, new approaches in training, full methodological support of the educational process have been repeatedly noted at department meetings, when conducting students’ opinion polls. She supervises research work of students, postgraduates which is carried out in forms of Bachelor and Master theses. Results of students and postgraduates research are presented at international republican scientific-practical conferences. Successful administrative and teaching work goes with serious attitude to scientific research. With good teaching skills, talented organizator skills, being tactful and sociable person, G.A. Menzyuk deserved respect among teachers and students.

School of Business, Law and Education


School of Business, Law and Education trains under-graduate, graduate and post-graduate students on 29 majors, in Russian and Kazakh ​​on the American and Kazakh Programs. 125 students have state educational grants, 6 students have scholarship of the President of KAFU. The School includes the Business Department, the Law and International Relations Department, the Foreign Languages Department, the Pedagogy and Psychology Department.Training is carried out in accordance with state educational standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the corresponding types of curriculum, designed by the teachers with high qualification.

Great attention is paid to the education of fully educated specialist. All curriculums have the courses of professionally oriented foreign language and Information Technology.

Much attention is paid to the quality of teaching. In recent years, new means of students' cognitive activity enhancement are increasingly used along with the use of traditional teaching methods. Business games, game studies etc. are actively implemented in the learning process. As extra-curriculum work, students are engaged in research, the use of information technology capabilities is also encouraged.

High level of English is another important priority. In October 2003, English language courses for non-linguistic majors were established in collaboration with American teachers. The course is an in-depth study of English, raising the level of professionalism of future specialists, enabling them to be competitive in the labor market. Courses include several levels. The first level is obligatory for all 1st year students and includes 1 credit each semester as a part of university education. 

Students of the School regularly participate in international programs of cultural and academic exchange. 9 graduates are fellows of the "Bolashak" presidential program. More than 200 students underwent the program of professional practice in the United States. Many students successfully combine study and traveling around the world, as active members of the AIESEC largest international student organization, which brings together students from 107 countries of the world. In addition, the students of the "Foreign Language" and "Translation" majors annually win scholarships of the DAAD educational exchange program, and gets the opportunity to spend summer or the whole academic semester studying in Germany. Not only students, but teachers and faculty, participate in international exchange programs. 3 faculty members have master's degrees from foreign universities, 19 teachers underwent professional training in the United States, Britain, and Germany.


Graduate and Post-Graduate Education

Organization of educational process on graduate and post-graduate programs is carried out by the Business, Foreign languages, Law and International Relations, and Pedagogy and Psychology departments. Annually, teachers from the US, Canada, and the U.K. participate in the educational process and scientific researches of graduate and post-graduate students.

Foreign experts also conduct training seminars, round tables to exchange the experience, participate in KAFU international scientific conferences.

Testing of research results of  graduate and post-graduate students take place  at the University`s international scientific conferences, in the framework of international scientific congresses, forums for young scientists, regional scientific conference of educators, issued in the "Vestnik KAFU" state journal, included in the list of publications, recommended by the Committee for Control of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2012) and in the «KAFU Academic Journal» scientific journal, registered in the U.S. Library of Congress.

Graduate Programs

Graduate programs include the fallowing majors: 6М050700 «Management», 6М030100 «Law», 6М011900 «Foreign Languages: Two Foreign Languages», 6М050900 «Finances», 6М070300 «Information Systems», 6М020200 «International Relations», 6М020700 «Translation Studies», 6М050300 «Psychology».
Training is conducted in the form of full-time studies, 1, 1.5 and 2 years, depending on the profile of training

Professional Orientated Training - a one-year (half-year) program, which is orientated to professional specialization in the chosen field. To receive a diploma within a year undergraduate should master the theoretical course, pass the professional practice, and perform experimental research and defend a thesis. Professional Orientated Training implements educational programs for postgraduate training sectors of the economy, law, services and business that have in-depth training. In this direction the MBA (Master of Business Administration) educational training program also implements. Program is carried out by Personality and Career Development Center of KAFU. 

Scientific and Pedagogical Oriented Training - a two-year program, which implements educational programs for graduate training, having in-depth scientific and pedagogical training. Under this program, undergraduate gets a thorough research training that gives the right to engage in research and scientific and educational activities, including teaching at the high school. During training graduate students study theoretical courses, undergo professional internship, perform scientific research, and defend master's thesis. 

People, who mastered educational program and defended master's thesis, are awarded the academic degree of "Master".

Post-Graduate Programs

Since 2007 educational process on post-graduate programs on the 6D030100 «Law» and 6D050700 «Management» majors are carried out with the assistance of KAFU international partners.

Time of study – 3 years.

Academic degree –PhD.

Teaching on the doctoral program is conducted mainly in English, except for courses that require the use of another language of instruction.
