On January 18, within the framework of the British Council Creative Spark project, a master class on design thinking was held on the basis of KAFU student hub.
KAFU student of educational program «Foreign Languages: Two Foreign Languages» Karina Idrisova told the participants why in the modern world problems need to be solved creatively and explained how to do it.
The main goal of design thinking is to solve a problem (creating a product or service) in a human-centered way.
During the master class, the audience learned about the experience of solving problems of successful global companies which are actively practicing design thinking, such as Apple, P&G, Coca-Cola, and others.
In the practical part of the workshop, the participants were asked to solve the problem of students who find it difficult to learn. For this, we conducted an interview, because the topic was close to each participant. The next step was to focus on the main problem identified. Further, working in groups, using the brainstorm method, various projects were proposed. As a result of the group work, one best project from each group was selected and presented in the form of a presentation. At the end of the workshop, the participants presented their projects and told how this project will work to solve the given problem.
