On March 4, 2021, the traditional annual meeting of the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Yerezhep Alkhairovich Mambetkaziev with students, undergraduates and doctoral students of our University was held. The purpose of this event is to create an open dialogue, a platform for direct communication with the university management and discussion of current trends in modern higher education.
The meeting was held in the format of a briefing - an open communication that allows you to identify the problems facing the university, to determine the further development of the university, taking into account the tasks that will be determined by the students in an honest dialogue.
The event was held in a mixed format - 1st year students were present in the assembly hall of KAFU in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological standards, and senior students were connected to an online video conference.
The meeting was attended by deans of faculties, heads of departments, foreign teachers, students from the United States, China and Afghanistan.
Dan Ballast, Vice President of International Programs and Cooperation at KAFU, made an online greeting. He expressed hope for an early meeting in the university in the classroom.
The students asked their questions and thanked the university management for the event.
