On April 21, 2022, the opening of the Regional Olympiad “Striving for Excellence” in English among students of 9-11th grades and 1-2nd year students of colleges took place.

At the opening ceremony, KAFU First Vice-President, PhD, Zasulan Baikenov, certified teacher of English, Kathleen Hyde, Fulbright ATA scholarship holder, KAFU lecturer, Javi Bosket and University of Washington PhD candidatte, KAFU MBA program student, Fulbright researcher, Joseph Wilson.

During the presentation, the participants got acquainted with the main stages of the Regional Olympiad and the evaluation criteria. Participants of the Olympiad could ask their questions.
