30 Years of KAFU: Guest Lecture on the Topic “Formation and Development of a Modern Scientist, Researcher, Designer in Higher Education and Individualization”

On September 24, 2024, a guest lecture on the topic “Formation and Development of a Modern Scientist, Researcher, Designer in Higher Education and Individualization” was held at the Kazakh-American Free University. The speaker was Andrey A. Terov, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Individualization and Continuous Education of Moscow State Pedagogical University (Moscow).

As part of the lecture, the presenter examined in detail the important aspects of the formation of scientist competencies in modern conditions, emphasized the role of individualization in the educational process, and also paid attention to the prospects for scientific research in the field of pedagogy. He also presented examples of successful projects and developments implemented at the Institute of Continuous Education of Moscow State Pedagogical University.

The lecture aroused keen interest among students and teachers present at the event. The presentation was followed by a lively discussion, where participants were able to ask questions regarding opportunities for professional growth in science and education.

The event became an important platform for exchanging knowledge and experience in the field of higher education and research, and also emphasized the importance of individualization in the modern educational process.

The speaker proposed various tracks and directions for professional development, which allowed the lecture participants to think about their own prospects in the chosen field. During the discussion, students actively shared their views on how they see themselves in these roles and what steps they are willing to take to achieve their professional goals in the future.
