Student service center

Student Service Center (hereinafter – SSC) was established on September 1, 2017 by order of the KAFU President of No. 53 of August 31, 2017.

The main task of the SSC is to create the conditions for timely and efficient service on the principle of “one-stop shop” in order to improve the culture and quality of the services provided to students.

SSC is located at the address: Ust-Kamenogorsk, M. Gorky St. 76, office 123 (1st floor, right wing), phone 8-7232-50-28-89, kafu_cos17@mail.ru

The main functions of the SSC:

  1. Preparation and issuance of certificates, statistics on the movement of students.
  2. Acceptance of applications, registration, consultation of students, undergraduates, doctoral students, parents.
  3. Preparation and issuance of certificates, extracts from orders and other requested documents for students who graduated and expelled students, undergraduates, doctoral students.
  4. Accounting for the contingent of students in the forms of training, educational units and types of payment for training.
  5. Preparation of orders on the movement of the contingent of students (enrollment, transfer, restoration, academic leave, change of surname, etc.).
  6. Preparation and sending personal files to other universities upon request.
  7. Processing and storage of personal files.
  8. Issuance of archival copies and documents, in accordance with incoming requests, preparation of the necessary certificates based on the information available in the archive documents.

The list of services provided by the student service center:

  1. Issuance of certificates;
  2. Accepting applications for the restoration of previously expelled students;
  3. Accepting applications for the restoration of previously expelled students from other universities;
  4. Accepting applications for the transfer of students from another university;
  5. Accepting applications for the transfer of students to another university;
  6. Accepting applications for transferring students to another educational program / specialty or form of training;
  7. Acceptance of applications for changing personal data;
  8. Acceptance of applications for academic leave;
  9. Acceptance of applications for return from academic leave;
  10. Acceptance of applications for deduction of their own free will;
  11. Acceptance of applications for the issuance of a certificate of incomplete education (academic certificate);
  12. Issue of documents from personal files;
  13. Accepting applications for a hostel, issuing directions

Center services

To apply for academic leave, you need:

  1. To read the rules on leaving and returning from academic leave.
  2. To contact the SSC.
  3. To fill out the application form.
  4. On the application, make a note in the accounting department about the absence of arrears in payment for tuition.
  5. To justify the reason for leaving on academic leave (for health reasons (from 0.5 to 1 year), in connection with conscription (1 year), to care for a child up to 3 years of age, annually extending);
  6. To provide supporting documents for the reason of leaving for academic leave (conclusion of the medical advisory commission, draft list for military service with the date of conscription, a certificate from the military enlistment office, a copy of the child’s birth certificate).
  7. The application review period is 5 working days.
  8. Based on the results of consideration of the application, an order on leaving for academic leave will be prepared.
  9. At the end of the term, you must write an application of withdrawal from academic leave no later than the specified date. To the contrary, the student is expelled from the number of students, as not released from academic leave in time.

RETURN FROM ACADEMIC LEAVE

To get out of academic leave, you need:

  1. To read the rules on leaving and returning from academic leave.
  2. To contact the SSC and apply for reinstatement from academic leave on the sample with the date of release.
  3. Attach supporting documents to the application (for the illness-the conclusion of the medical advisory commission)
  4. The application review period is 5 working days.
  5. Based on the results of consideration of the application, an order will be prepared to leave academic leave for the appropriate educational program/specialty, course and semester from which the arrange care for academic leave was issued.
  6. After the release of the recovery order, you need:
  • to contact the specialist office of the Registrar of your faculty to determine   the passing of the academic difference in the curriculum.
  • to get login, password for registration in AIS “Рlatonus”.

RESTORATION OF PREVIOUSLY EXPELLED STUDENTS

To apply for recovery, you need:

  1. To read the rules of translation and recovery.
  2. To contact the office of the Registrar (office 413,314) to determine the form of education, course, educational program, language of instruction. Get an Appendix to the application for reinstatement with the Dean’s signature and a note from the accounting department that there are no outstanding tuition fees.
  3. To contact the DSP and apply for recovery.

To have with you:

  • An Appendix to the application/signature of the dean, accounting
  • A certificate of education with the application / original / – certificate or diploma
  • ID card /for identification/
  1. Conclude an agreement in 2 copies
  2. The application review period is 5 working days.
  3. Based on the results of consideration of the application, an order for restoration will be prepared.
  4. After the recovery order is issued, you need:
  • contact the office Registrar of your Department to determine the academic difference in the curriculum;
  • to get login, password for registration in AIS “Platonus”.
  • to get a record-book, student ID
  1. Contact the Dean’s office of your Department / College, University.
  2. The Dean’s office prepares a list of those in need in the dormitory with the necessary data with the signature of the head and sends it to the SSC KAFU.
  3. Contact the DSP, make an application.
  4. Get directions to 119 room.
  5. The preparation time of the direction is 30 minutes.
  1. Apply to the SSC, issue an application to change of personal data;
  2. On the application, put a mark in the accounting Department about the absence of dept on payment for training;
  3. Justify the reason for changing the data;
  4. Attach copies of supporting documents to the application;

Be responsible for the process of changing the data in the accounting systems of KAFU for the correctness of the organization of documentation for your training.

  1. After issuing an order to change your personal data, you need to:
  • If you are studying on a grant, you need to gen a new Bank card to get a scholarship and report the new Bank card details to accounting Department;
  • Make changes to the student ID and record book at the office registrar.

To make a deduction at your own request, you need:

  1. Contact the SSC and fill out the application form.
  2. On the application, make a note in the accounting Department about the absence of arrears in payment for training.
  3. Justify the reason for the deduction.
  4. Get a transcript from the office Registrar about passing the educational program.
  5. Apply for a certificate of incomplete education (if necessary).
  6. Pass the bypass list, pass the student card and record book in the SSC.
  7. After issuing the order of expulsion, You can:
  • On the basis of the submitted identity document to get the originals of their documents (certificate of incomplete education, certificate (diploma) in the SSC.
  1. Contact the SSC.
  2. Provide a note from the accounting Department that there is no debt on tuition fees.
  3. Make an application.
  4. Justify the reason for the need for help.
  5. The certificate of a special sample is issued within 10 working days.
  6. The certificate is issued upon presentation of an identity document or a power of attorney certified by a notary (original).

Issued:

  • to the State Pension Payment Centre;
  • to the Department of Defense;
  • to whom it May concern;
  • archive transcript (to graduate);
  • and other.

To receive a certificate that you are studying at KAFU you need to:

  1. Contact the Student Service Center, present a student card / undergraduate / doctoral certificate or identity card, provide a note from the accounting department about the absence of arrears in tuition fees.
  2. A certificate for the student is prepared no more than 1 working day.
  3. A certificate to the draft board is prepared within 3 working days.
  4. An archival certificate for the graduate is prepared on the basis of an application or an official request of the organization within 3 working days.

This service can be provided in electronic format on the basis of an electronic application. To do this, you need to send an application in free form to the e-mail address kafu_cos17@mail.ru with a copy of an identity card and contact information (no answer will be received without these conditions).

A ready certificate in PDF format will be sent to your email address within 3 working days.

An official request is sent to the email address kafu_ukg@mail.ru. The answer will be sent to your email address or by letter (indicate in the request the detailed address of the recipient).

  1. Contact the SSC
  2. Present an identity document in person or an original notarized power of attorney. Electronic documents and copies are not accepted.
  3. Justify the reason for the withdrawal of the document from the personal file.
  4. Provide a confirmation document that there is no debt on tuition fees (payment receipt, Bank receipt, mark from the accounting Department).
  5. Issue a statement indicating the duration of the seizure. Documents are issued for a period of no more than 1 month. In case of non-attachment of the document at the end of the term, the University has the right to expel the student, due to lack of personal file.

To apply for recovery, you need:

  1. To read the rules of translation and recovery.
  2. To contact the office of the Registrar (office 413,314) to determine the form of education, course, educational program, language of instruction. Get an Appendix to the application for reinstatement with the Dean’s signature and a note from the accounting Department on the prepayment of 10% of the annual cost of training.
  3. To contact the SSP and apply for recovery.

To have with you:

  • An Appendix to the application/signature of the dean, accounting
  • the document on previous education with the application/original/;
  • results of entrance examinations / UNT,KTA, or other/;
  • academic reference or transcript;
  • extract from the order of dismissal;
  • medical certificate (form 086-U) / Foreign university /;
  • ID card /for identification/
  • photo 3 * 4 – 6 pieces;
  • documents on the change of surname (if necessary);

Note: If the education document is issued by a foreign organization, it is necessary to pass the nostrification procedure in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Transfer of students from another university

To complete the transfer, you need:

  1. Familiarize yourself with the rules of transfer and recovery in higher education
  2. To contact the office of the Registrar (office 413,314) to determine the form of education, course, educational program, language of instruction. Get an Appendix to the application for reinstatement with the Dean’s signature and a note from the accounting Department on the prepayment of 10% of the annual cost of training.
  3. To apply to the SSC and submit an application.

To have with you:

  • An application addressed to the rector of the university from which the student is being transferred, with the official stamp;
  • Additional to the application of the dean of KASU / signature of the dean, accounting;
  • Transcript signed by the dean and the seal of the dean of another university;
  • Copy of education certificate;
  • Results of entrance examinations / copy of the certificate of UNT, KTA or other /;
  • Identity Card /for identification/;
  • Photo 3 * 4 – 6 pieces;
  •  Medical certificate (form 086-U) / Foreign university /;
  •  Note: if the education certificate is issued by a foreign organization, it is necessary to go through the nostrification procedure in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  1. Sign a contract in 2 copies.
  2. The application review period is 5 working days.
  3. As a result of consideration of the application, an order for transfer to our UNIVERSITY will be prepared.
  4. After the release of the order about your enrollment, a request will be sent to send your personal file to the UNIVERSITY where you previously studied.
  5. Based on this request, you will be expelled from the previous institution in connection with the transfer to the cashier, to continue your studies.

After the release of the order of expulsion, you must pass a bypass sheet at the University where you studied earlier

  1. After the release of the order, you need to:
  • contact the office-Registrar of your faculty to determine the academic difference in the curriculum (delivery of academic difference in the curriculum – the procedure is paid);
  • get a login and password for registration in the AIS “Platonus”.
  • get a record book, student ID.

TRANSFER OF STUDENTS TO ANOTHER UNIVERSITY

 To make a transfer you need:

  1. Read the transfer and recovery rules.
  2. Write an application for a transcript in the Dean’s office.
  3. Make an application to the SSC for transfer to another university.

To have with you:

  • Transcript;
  • Note from the accounting department that there is no arrears in tuition fees;
  • Identity card / for presence;
  • Bypass sheet.
  1. The period of registration of this service is 3 working days
  2. To the application (from the personal file) attach a copy of the certificate or diploma and the certificate of UNT or KTA to provide in another University.
  3. Write an application for a certificate of incomplete education (academic certificate).
  4. The personal file will be sent on the basis of the submitted official request and an extract from the order on transfer transfer to another UNIVERSITY.

TRANSFER OF STUDENTS TO ANOTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM / SPECIALTY OR FORM OF TRAINING

To make a transfer you need:

  1. Read the transfer and recovery rules.
  2. To contact the Office of the Registrar

When transferring to another form of education:

  1. Contact the office Registrar where he studied and get a transcript signed by the Dean and the Dean’s seal;
  2. Contact the office Registrar (KAB.413,314) to determine the form of training, course, educational program. Get an Appendix to the transfer application with the Dean’s signature and a note from the accounting Department that there is no outstanding tuition fees;

When transferring to another educational program:

  1. Contact the office Registrar and get an Appendix to the transfer application with the Dean’s signature and a note from the accounting Department about the absence of arrears in tuition fees
  2. To apply to the SSC and submit an application for a transfer.

To have with you:

  1. collation statement
  2. identity card /for identification/;
  3. Additional to the application.
  4. Reissue the contract in 2 copies.
  5. The application review period is 5 working days.
  6. As a result of consideration of the application, a transfer order will be prepared.
  7. After the release of your transfer order, you need to:
    1. contact your faculty’s office Registrar to determine the academic difference in curriculum;
    2. make changes to the record book.
