A Round Table on the Stay of Foreign Students was held at KAFU

On February 5, 2025, a Round Table was held at the Kazakh-American Free University, dedicated to current issues of organizing the stay of foreign students in educational institutions.

The discussion was attended by representatives of universities and colleges of the region, vice-rectors, deans, heads of departments, as well as the management and specialists of the Migration Service Department of the Police Department of East Kazakhstan region. The participants of the round table considered the issues of adaptation and integration of foreign citizens studying in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also discussed possible ways to improve the conditions of their stay in the educational environment.

The event was held in a working atmosphere, where constructive proposals were made to improve the support system for foreign students. The discussion was conducted in Kazakh and Russian.
