American professor at KAFU gave an interview to the Media Center “ALTAI-NEWS”

Journalists from the ALTAI-NEWS Media Center interviewed Ronald and Janine Wiley at the Kazakh-American Free University.

Ronald Wiley is a professor at KAFU, PhD in international relations, works at the Department of Law and International Relations at KAFU. Professor Wiley teaches disciplines in the International Relations educational program. Professor Ronald Wiley’s research interests include problems of international relations, as well as conflictology.

Janine Wiley – Master of Organizational Leadership, foreign teacher at KAFU. As a visiting lecturer, Janine is actively involved in the educational and social spheres of the university.

During the conversation, questions about studying the Kazakh language were raised, since the interview with the American professor was conducted in the Kazakh language. Ronald Wiley is fluent in the Kazakh language, which is a cultural phenomenon. During the conversation, issues of culture and traditions of Kazakhstan were touched upon. The professor remembered his first impressions when he just started learning the Kazakh language, about which words were easier and which were more difficult. Ronald and Janine shared their opinions about Kazakh cuisine and traditional national dishes. American teachers also spoke about their positive impressions of Kazakh students.

At the end of the interview, the couple expressed gratitude and noted the hospitality of the Kazakh people, which creates home comfort for them in Kazakhstan.
