Conflict Resolution Workshop

On December 6, 2024, as part of the regional Polyglot Olympiad held among students in grades 10-11, a workshop on “Personality Traits That Underlie Successful Conflict Resolution” was held. It was conducted by Irina A. Fedorova, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Master and Director of the Center for Institutional Research at the Kazakh-American Free University.

The workshop was organized for teachers who were given the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of conflicts, as well as the key personality traits that contribute to their successful resolution. Irina A. Fedorova shared her professional experience and conducted interactive exercises aimed at developing communication, empathy and self-control skills.

Particular attention was paid to discussing practical cases and analyzing various behavior strategies in conflict situations. Participants noted that the knowledge gained during the workshop will be useful not only in their professional activities, but also in everyday life.

The event was held in an atmosphere of lively communication and interest, which emphasized the importance of the topic under discussion and the high professionalism of the presenter. Such workshops help teachers broaden their horizons and prepare for successful interaction in various life situations.
