From Theory to Practice

On October 5, 2023, students of the educational program “Psychology” under the guidance of Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Elizaveta T. Katanova, as part of the study of the discipline “Special Psychology”, visited the rehabilitation and correction center «Demey». The main goal of the visit was a practical study of the specifics of development problems of people with physical and mental disabilities, determining the need of children for special educational and academic conditions, as well as studying the adults’ needs for special forms of psychological support.

The teachers of the «Demey» center shared an informative presentation on the development of children with special needs and answered all the students’ questions.
