Guest Lecture at TSUL on the Topic of Civil Procedure and Arbitration
On February 19, 2024, teacher of the Department of Law and International Relations of the Kazakh-American Free University Yermek M. Zhunuspekov, as part of academic mobility, gave a guest lecture for students of the specialty “Jurisprudence” at the Tashkent State University of Law (Tashkent) on the topic: “Features of Civil Proceedings in Economic and Investment Disputes in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
During the lecture, students were told about some of the features of pre-trial regulation, civil litigation in economic and investment disputes, and arbitration in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Students were also told about some of the norms of the Entrepreneurial Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan relating to investment activities and the resolution of disputes under investment contracts.
Students were also able to ask questions about the implementation of civil proceedings, conciliation procedures and mediation in economic disputes.
Mutual fruitful cooperation between universities in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is of strategic importance for the development of education, science and cultural ties, contributing to their common prosperity and strengthening international cooperation.
