In memory of Zinaida I. Vassilyeva

July 2, 2024 marked the 100th anniversary of the famous Soviet and Russian scientist, Academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Zinaida I. Vassilyeva.

On this day, a Round Table was dedicated to the memory of Zinaida I. Vassilyeva at the Kazakh-American Free University. The Round Table participants shared warm memories of their supervisor, teacher, and friend, and also discussed the current state of the education system, trends, and prospects for its development. The event was attended by Svetlana I. Ferho, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Gul K. Nurgalieva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Galina V. Protassova (Head of the Institute for Advanced Studies from 1986-2002), Yersaiyn A. Nabiev, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Director of the Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Economics and Finance, Natalia A. Nesterenko, Advisor to the Rector of KAFU.
