International exam and seminar for German language teachers

On April 6-7, 2024, two events were held at the KAFU Linguistic Center – the international exam in the German language “Goethe Zertifikat” and the seminar “Deutsch unterrichten: interaktiv, handlungsorientiert, lernerzentriet”.

The international exam in German, organized by the Goethe Institute in Kazakhstan, took place over two days – April 6 and 7. 27 people from different cities and regions of Eastern Kazakhstan expressed a desire to check their level of training.

The exam results will be announced later. Those who pass it successfully will receive a certificate confirming the appropriate level of knowledge and opening up opportunities for migration, training and employment in Germany.

On April 6, a seminar for German language teachers was held, also organized by the Goethe Institute in Kazakhstan. More than 20 teachers from schools, universities, and language centers in Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semey took part in it.

They discussed various methods of teaching German and exchanged experiences of working with students of different levels of training. In addition, we learned how to develop exciting German lessons and use various game and interactive teaching methods.

As the organizers noted, such events help improve the quality of German language teaching in schools and universities in the region.
