Issues of Practice in Inclusive Education

On September 18 and 19, 2023, 3rd year students of KAFU pedagogical educational programs, together with senior lecturers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Zhanar K. Sadanova, Zarina K. Chunkurova, visited the municipal state institution of East Kazakhstan region “Boarding School “Ak-Niet” as part of the study of the course “Inclusive Education” .

The boarding school educates the children with disorders of the musculoskeletal system, vision, hearing and speech with intact intelligence, and provides psychological, medical, pedagogical and correctional support for adaptation to general social life. Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Lira M. Zhalaushinova and speech pathologist teacher Saule K. Ensebaeva introduced our students to the offices of a speech therapist, psychologist, teacher of the deaf, robotics, physiotherapy, a physical therapy room and a sensory room, as well as the advantages of a boarding school.
