KAFU at the HAW.International Conference in Karlsruhe!

On November 21-22, 2024, the Kazakh-American Free University presented its expertise at the international conference HAW.International, held at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. The theme of the event was the achievements and prospects of internationalization of higher education.

At one of the key sessions, the First Vce-President of KAFU, Zhassulan Baikenov, spoke about the challenges that KAFU faced when creating a dual-degree master’s program in Management and Information Technology in partnership with the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences (WHZ), as well as the decisions made to overcome these difficulties.

This program is unique in that it allows students to obtain two master’s degrees, study both in Kazakhstan and Germany, and acquire knowledge and skills that are in demand internationally.

Professor Christian Brauweiler and Stefan Noack, IDEA project coordinator, also shared their views. They spoke about the stages of creating the program and how such initiatives contribute to the development of the global educational space.
