KAFU at the Round Table of the Association of Professional Translators and Translation Companies

On November 23, 2023, teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages of KAFU took an active part in the online meeting of the Round Table of the Association of Professional Translators and Translation Companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The online meeting took place at the International University of Astana.

In order to improve the quality of translator training and update the educational program, taking into account changes in the labor market, it was proposed to hold a round table meeting to discuss possible adjustments and adaptation of the program accordingly.

During the meeting, local and Russian colleagues discussed such important issues as the importance of studying their native language, the need to train translation editors, the possibility of opening literary translation centers at universities, and much more.
