KAFU Held a Training Seminar for Compliance Officers
On March 19, 2025, the Kazakh-American Free University held a training seminar for compliance officers of the quasi-public sector of the East Kazakhstan region, including education and healthcare. The event was organized by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the East Kazakhstan region.
As part of the seminar, compliance officers were provided with methodological assistance in working with regulatory documents. The speakers called on the participants to work together to combat corruption, relying on honesty, integrity, truth and justice.
In the area of forming a corporate culture and anti-corruption values, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of KAFU, PhD, Fatima V. Iskenderova conducted a psychological training for compliance officers.
The methodological platform of the seminar discussed the issues of organizing the work of compliance officers in institutions, as well as the timely submission of reports on documentation. Experienced specialists shared their knowledge and developments with colleagues. At the end of the seminar, the participants wished success to the newly appointed compliance officers and emphasized the importance of working together in the fight against corruption.
