KAFU Hosted Guest Lectures by James Evenson on the Topic “I am An Entrepreneur”

From November 25 to 27, 2024, the Kazakh-American Free University hosted guest lectures on the topic “Am I an Entrepreneur. The speaker was James Evenson, Vice President of KAFU and Head of the Entrepreneurship Center.

The main goal of the lectures was to inspire and engage listeners in the world of entrepreneurship, as well as teach the key principles of creating and developing a business. During the seminars, James Evenson explained that an entrepreneur is someone who takes risks, using innovations and market opportunities.

The lectures covered such topics as key qualities of an entrepreneur – creativity, resilience, adaptability and risk. James Evenson emphasized that anyone can become an entrepreneur, regardless of their specialty, and invited participants to think about what they have already created or could create in life.

The KAFU Entrepreneurship Center offers students support in launching startups, mentoring, access to resources and opportunities for developing entrepreneurial thinking. The speaker’s closing remarks reminded the audience of the importance of following their dreams and passions as they build their business.
