KAFU students visited Ust-Kamenogorsk Condenser Plant for translation practice

As part of the study of the disciplines of the translation module, on April 16 and 17, 2024, students of the 2nd year of the VET and the third year of OP 6B02301 “Translation Business” of the Kazakh-American Free University visited the Ust-Kamenogorsk Condenser Plant.

During the tour, the students got acquainted with the production processes and products of the plant, as well as learned about the specifics of the work of translators at enterprises in this industry. They saw how translators play a key role in ensuring effective communication between technical specialists and the plant’s international partners.

Students noted that such an experience significantly expands their understanding of the profession and helps to prepare for a future career. This event confirmed the importance of practical training and the need for such visits to form competent and self-confident specialists.
