Open Lecture on the Topic “The Golden Horde is the Main Support of the Ulus of Jochi”

In 2024, Kazakhstan celebrates the 800th anniversary of the formation of the Ulus of Jochi. For this purpose, on February 5, 2024, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Law and International Relations Ardak K. Abdrakhmanova held an open lecture for 1st year students on the topic “The Golden Horde is the Main Support of the Ulus of Jochi.” The lecturer spoke about the creation of the Golden Horde state led by Batu, the collapse of the Mongol Empire under Berke Khan, the Golden Horde’s fight for independence, the prosperity of the Ulus of Jochi under Uzbek and Zhanibek khans, the borders of the Ulus of Jochi were shown on the political map, and it was noted that in The Horde had its own laws, its own rules and its own financial units.
