Round Table on Medical Psychology

On December 6, 2022, students of the 3rd year of the educational program “Psychology” of the Kazakh-American Free University under the guidance of Senior Lecturer of the department “Pedagogy and Psychology” Katanova E.T. within the discipline “Medical Psychology” visited the East Kazakhstan regional narcological dispensary.

The purpose of this visit is to consolidate theoretical knowledge, and a round table was organized with the participation of a narcologist and a staff psychologist of the institution. The students received additional information in the field of medical psychology. As part of this event, each student had the opportunity to conduct an individual conversation with patients of various addictions.
