Scientific cooperation between KAFU and Almaty universities

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Law and International Relations of the Kazakh-American Free University Muzhchil S.A. took part in several international scientific and practical conferences held at universities in Almaty.

On April 19, 2024, an international scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists took place as part of the annual Basin Readings “Current Problems of Private Law.” The conference was organized by the Caspian Public University and the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation. This annual conference is dedicated to the Honored Scientist of the Kazakh SSR, Doctor of Law, Professor Yuri Grigorievich Basin (1923 – 2004), who is the founder of Kazakh civil law.

On April 25, 2024, an international scientific and practical conference was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the topic “Development of constitutional and legal science in Kazakhstan: history, problems, prospects.”

The conference was held as part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of KazNU. al-Farabi and was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founder and head of the department of constitutional law, Doctor of Law, Professor K.F. Kotova (1955-1982); 100th anniversary of the head of the department of constitutional and administrative law, Doctor of Law, Professor V.A. Kim (1982-2001); To the 90th anniversary of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the first Chairman of the First Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1992-1995) M.T. Baimakhanov.

On May 10, 2024, the international scientific and practical conference “Constitutional principles of the administration of justice” was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The international meeting, organized as part of the 90th anniversary of KazNU, was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Doctor of Law, professor, who held the positions of Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Prosecutor General of the country Mami Kairat Abdrazakovich.
