The Regional Gathering-Forum “Sanaly Urpak” was Held at KAFU
On November 21, 2024, the Regional gathering-forum “Sanaly Urpak” was held at the Kazakh-American Free University (KAFU). The event was organized by the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan Region and the Higher College of KAFU.
The opening ceremony began with welcoming words by the Head of the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan Region Inessa A. Chernysheva and the Head of the department for work with youth and civil society institutions of the Internal Policy Department of the East Kazakhstan Region E.S. Baltabekov.
The key moments of the forum were the ceremony of accepting new members into the ranks of the “Sanaly Urpak” club, reading the oath and presenting badges. These events symbolized the commitment of young people to the principles of honesty, fairness and anti-corruption behavior.
The forum program included the theatrical performance “Zhemkorlykka zhol zhok”, the intellectual game “Zhemkorlyk – gasyr derti”, as well as a round table meeting for deputy directors for educational work. The participants showed activity, creativity and desire to develop civic responsibility.
The meeting ended with an award ceremony and the presentation of the challenge cup of the “Sanaly Urpak” club. The event emphasized the unity of young people around the ideas of honesty and anti-corruption education.
As part of the forum, a tour of the university was organized for students of regional colleges, aimed at familiarizing them with the educational opportunities of KAFU. The participants visited the courtroom, Creative Hub, international department, modern library, foreign language and banking rooms. In addition, the students underwent a mini-training with a psychologist dedicated to career guidance. The university’s teachers and staff demonstrated modern approaches to teaching, talked about unique opportunities for student development, and answered all questions of interest.
