Translation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

On November 27, 2024, second-year students of the American program specializing in “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” hosted the annual scientific and practical seminar on the timely topic of using artificial intelligence programs in translation.

The students presented an overview of popular and accessible tools and platforms available today, including audio-visual translation software with voiceover capabilities, AI-integrated CAT tools, smartphone applications, text corpus management systems, and translation editors.

Seminar attendees actively participated in discussions about the software, shared their experiences, tried out new programs, and highly praised the presenters’ preparation and knowledge.
