KAFU Team Wins IV Republican Pedagogical Olympiad “Abai’s Legacy in the Pedagogy of the 21st Century”
On April 23-24, 2025, the IV Republican Pedagogical Olympiad among students majoring in pedagogy was held at the Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. This year, the event was dedicated to the topic: “Abai’s Legacy in the Pedagogy of the 21st Century”.
The goal of the Olympiad is to identify and support gifted students, develop their scientific and creative potential, as well as update the pedagogical heritage of the great Abai in the context of modern education.
The team of the Kazakh-American Free University became a prize winner of the Olympiad, taking the honorable 3rd place and receiving a cash prize.
The Olympiad program included three stages:
1. Staging a life situation using Abai’s pedagogical ideas.
2. Demonstration of a fragment of a lesson.
3. Defense of a scientific project on the topic “Abai and Kazakhstan of the XXI century.”
KAFU team composition:
• Ali Ramazanov – educational program “Physical Culture and Sports”, 2nd year;
• Takhmina Tleuzhanova – educational program “Kazakh Language and Literature”, 2nd year;
• Kuralai Nyssanova – educational program “Kazakh Language and Literature”, 2nd year;
• Dilnaz Seitkumarova – educational program “Kazakh Language and Literature”, 2nd year.
