30 years of KAFU: Opening of a New Forensic Testing Site of KAFU

As part of the Strategic Partnership Agreement between the Police Department of the East Kazakhstan Region and the Kazakh-American Free University, on February 29, 2024, a new forensic testing site of the Kazakh-American Free University was opened. This is an important step towards the practice-oriented organization of the educational process.

The technical equipment of the forensic testing ground was carried out with the support of the Police Department of the East Kazakhstan Region.

The official opening ceremony of the new forensic testing site was attended by the First Vice-President of KAFU, PhD Zhasulan E. Baikenov, Deputy Head of the East Kazakhstan Police Department, Police Colonel Medet T. Berdimuratov, Head of the Operational Forensic Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Zhaksylyk K. Korpebaev .

Zhaksylyk K. Korpebaev demonstrated to those present the capabilities of the forensic testing site and spoke about the features of the activities of the operational-forensic department of the East Kazakhstan Police Department.

The forensic testing site provides unique opportunities for students of the Department of Law and International Relations, allowing them to develop and improve their practical skills in the field of forensics and crime scene inspection.

Thanks to such cooperation, university graduates will be not only theoretically literate, but also prepared for practical work in law enforcement agencies.

The management and staff of the Kazakh-American Free University expresses gratitude to the Head of the Police Department, Major General of Police Erlan B. Omarbekov and the staff of the East Kazakhstan Police Department for the active cooperation and support provided to the university in the matter of training qualified personnel in the field of law.
