A KAFU Student Participated in the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Media Forum

Participants included representatives of domestic media, chairmen and members of the regional Assembly of the People of Kazakhstani journalists’ clubs, representatives of ethnic media, press secretaries of regional state educational institutions “Kogamdyk Kelisim,” and deputies and members of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Journalists’ Club serves as an expert and communications platform uniting representatives of the media, press service staff, bloggers, and independent experts. Its key objective is to consolidate the efforts of specialists to ensure high-quality coverage of ethnosocial issues, develop professional competencies, civic responsibility, and legal and media literacy.

The forum discussed issues of fostering a culture of interethnic dialogue, strengthening tolerance, sharing experiences between regions, and developing the ethnomedia network and journalists’ clubs of the Assembly of People’s Commissars (APC).
