Agreement on Cooperation

On January 26, 2023, a meeting was held at the Kazakh-American Free University with the director of the “East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Boarding School-College of the Olympic Reserve for Gifted Children in Sports”, Kairat Kairatuly and representatives of the boarding school-college.

The meeting was attended by the First Vice-President of KAFU Zhasulan Baikenov, Adviser to the Rector Natalia Nesterenko, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Assem Nurlanova, head of Marketing and Admission Department, Azamat Berdibekov.

The boarding school was founded in 1997, it trains children from remote areas of the East Kazakhstan region in 11 sports departments: boxing, volleyball, cycling, kayaking and canoeing, rowing slalom, athletics, weightlifting, fencing, freestyle, taekwondo, ice hockey.

“East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Boarding School-College of the Olympic Reserve for Gifted Children in Sports” is a partner of KAFU and a facility of practice for students in the educational program 6B01401 “Physical Culture and Sports”.

At the meeting, the parties discussed further cooperation and the prospect of work on training personnel, and an agreement was reached on signing a Cooperation Agreement.
