Career Guidance Meeting with Graduates of the Abay College at KAFU

On May 22, 2025, the Kazakh-American Free University warmly welcomed graduates of the East Kazakhstan Abay Humanitarian College. A rich career guidance program was organized for the students, aimed at helping them choose their future educational trajectory.

The guests had an opportunity to communicate with the university management. The meeting with the students was attended by:

– Daniel Ballast, KAFU Vice President for International Relations and Programs;

– Zhassulan Ye. Baikenov, First Vice President of KAFU;

– Nadezhda M. Shefer, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Committee for Control over Educational Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Shortened Educational Programs;

– Galina A. Menzyuk, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Law and Pedagogy;

– Assem N. Nurlanova — Candidate of Philological Sciences, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology.

Future applicants were told about the areas of training, admission features, opportunities for double degrees, and academic mobility. Representatives of the admissions committee answered all questions of interest.

Particular attention was paid to the unique educational model of KAFU, combining Kazakhstani and American approaches to education. Participants noted the high level of organization of the event and the friendly atmosphere.

We are glad to see the keen interest of the graduates of the Abay College and hope that today’s meeting will help them make a thoughtful choice and confidently move towards success together with KAFU!
