Collaboration between KAFU and VKU scientists: developing scientific partnership and new achievements

The Kazakhstan-American Free University (KAFU) continues to actively expand its academic and scientific cooperation with universities across the country, building strong partnerships in the fields of research and innovative development. KAFU’s long-term collaborations aim to consolidate scientific potential, facilitate the exchange of experience, and implement joint projects of strategic importance for Kazakhstan’s socio-economic development.

Since 2024, Aigerim Rakhmetulina, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Business at KAFU, has been actively participating in the scientific project of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University IRN AP23490443 «Human capital management, improving the quality of labor resources in the context of the development of the digital economy», funded by the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of this research, inter-university and international cooperation is being carried out with scientists from the Kazakhstan-American Free University, the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and Altai State University (Russian Federation). This international partnership enhances the interdisciplinary nature of the study, promoting the exchange of advanced methods and digital solutions for analyzing human capital. The project’s international dimension strengthens its practical significance by generating scientific recommendations relevant to academia, public administration, and the business sector.

In October 2025, Rakhmetulina A.A., in collaboration with Dr. PhD Zh. Baikenov, developed the scientific paper «Mechanisms for Enhancing the Employment Efficiency of University Graduates in the Context of Human Capital Development (within the framework of Project №AР23490443)», which was officially registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Certificate of Copyright Registration №62782, dated October 8, 2025).

This achievement reflects the success of inter-university collaboration that unites the research potential of KAFU, ENU, and EKU, demonstrating the contribution of these institutions to the development of innovative solutions aimed at increasing labor market efficiency.

Such projects strengthen KAFU’s position as a leading research and educational center fostering advanced studies in economics, business, digital transformation, and human capital management.
