Comparative Analysis of the Tax Systems of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan: Guest Lecture for KAFU Students
On March 16, 2026, a guest lecture was held online for undergraduate and graduate students of the Department of Law and International Relations. The lecture was delivered by Captain Dina U. Papieva, Head of the Consulting and Explanation Sector of the Taxpayer Relations Department of the State Tax Service for the Oktyabrsky District of Bishkek.
During her presentation, Dina U. Papieva provided a detailed overview of the structure and specifics of the tax system in the Kyrgyz Republic and a comparative analysis of the tax systems of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Particular attention was paid to the main types of taxes, principles of tax administration, and the interactions between tax authorities and taxpayers. In addition to professional aspects, the lecturer introduced students to the peculiarities of life in Kyrgyzstan, the national traditions and culture of the Kyrgyz people, and also spoke about the traditions of celebrating the spring holiday of Nooruz.
