Congratulations to students participating in academic mobility – 2024
On April 18, 2024, at the Kazakh-American Free University, a meeting of students participating in academic mobility was held with the President of KAFU, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.A. Mambetkaziev.
The meeting was attended by the first vice-president of KAFU, Zh.E. Baikenov, the vice-president for international programs D. Ballast, teachers and students who are going to study abroad this summer.
Students and undergraduates of the university passed a competitive selection both for the leadership program in the USA and for the academic mobility program at universities in the USA and Germany.
During the meeting, the President of KAFU, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mambetkaziev E.A. expressed gratitude to the university teachers for preparing talented students who will represent our university abroad. Erezhep Alkhairovich sent special words of gratitude to schools that provide quality knowledge to graduates who later have the opportunity to represent their country in the international educational arena.

It is also necessary to especially note the following students who, at the expense of the republican budget and partly at their own expense, go to study under the academic mobility program:
Tokhtarova Madina Serikovna “Translation Studies”, 3rd year, goes to the University of Oklahoma (Shawnee, Oregon);
Sofia Zhavoronkova “Translation Studies”, 2nd year, goes to the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences (Zwickau, Saxony).
Work in this direction proves the correctness of the paths and strategies of KAFU as the first international partnership university in Kazakhstan, training specialists to the high standards of Europe and the USA.
Currently, 9 KAFU students and master’s students are studying abroad under academic mobility programs. Of these, four are on internship, five students are participating in academic mobility programs
