Congratulations to the Hero of the Day

On February 6, 2024, in the main building of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, the well-known Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Higher Attestation Commission, Ivan A. Poltaranin, celebrated his eighty-fifth anniversary.

A wonderful teacher, education facilitator, respected dean of the Faculty of History and Pedagogy, scientist, author of many scientific works, and indisputable authority for students and teachers; a deep analyst who perfectly knew the whole material of the educational courses he taught. Not only students but also work colleagues turned to him for scientific advice. A wise, friendly, sympathetic person, a wonderful family man – he has earned the trust and respect of others. As one of the UKPI graduates wrote in her memoirs about him, “He does everything one hundred percent.”

Representatives of the city administrative structures and graduates of the universities where he worked came to congratulate the hero of the day. Ivan A. Poltaranin was heartily congratulated by the President of the Kazakh-American Free University Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziev, together with teachers and graduates, who wished him long creative years, health, and prosperity.
