Cooperation between KAFU and the Territorial Association of Trade Unions “Trade Union Center of East Kazakhstan Region”

On August 27, 2024, a strategic partnership agreement and an agreement on the organization of professional internships were signed between the Kazakh-American Free University and the Territorial Association of Trade Unions “Trade Union Center of East Kazakhstan Region”.

“Trade Union Center of East Kazakhstan Region” was represented by its Chairman Temirbek Zh. Kasymzhanov and his deputy Aizhan A. Igassanova.

First Vice President of KAFU Zhasulan Baikenov and Dean of the Faculty of “Business, Law and Pedagogy” Galina .A. Menzyuk conducted a tour of the building for our guests.

Temirbek Kasymzhanov and Aizhan Igassanova were also received by the President of the University, Academician Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziyev.

Following the signing of the agreements, the parties intend to develop cooperation in the following areas:

– exchange of information on promising projects on labor, social and trade union legislation;

– spreading of best practices in training qualified personnel in the field of jurisprudence;

– conducting joint scientific and practical work;

– implementation of joint programs on advanced training in labor, social and trade union legislation;

– organizing meetings with potential partners, participating in seminars, symposia, short-term training programs and academic meetings;

– exchange of research and educational materials, publications and academic information;

– other mutually beneficial areas.
