Creative Week – Week of Creative Ideas

The exhibition “Creative Week – Week of Creative Ideas” opened on September 11 in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. In the main academic building of the Kazakh-American Free University with the participation of Zhaksylyk Omar – akim of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Erezhep Mambetkaziev – President of KAFU, Daniel Ballast – Vice-President of KAFU for International Relations and Cooperation, Allan Taylor – Professor of De Montford University (London, Great Britain), Andrey Lazarev – Executive Director for Administrative Issues of «Kazzinc», Irina Smit – Deputy akim for Social Issues, Hasan Turganbaev – Head of the East Kazakhstan Entrepreneurship sector, Raisa Mukhamedzhanova – Head of the East Kazakhstan Resource Center. The opening of the exhibition was also attended by the administration, employees and foreign guests of KAFU.

The exhibition took place on the initiative of the Creative Director of KAFU, Alexandra Astafieva, with the support and partnership with Dr. Allan Taylor.

Presentation of creative ideas of students, teachers, and local residents to popularize art professions and support creative entrepreneurship is the main goal of this event.
