Development of Joint Advanced Training Courses in Cooperation with Orleu

On March 2, 2023, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Kazakh-American Free University and the Branch of “National Center for Advanced Studies “Orleu” “Institute for Professional Development in the East Kazakhstan Region”.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the branch of  “Orleu” Gaukhar Zhumanova, Deputy Director of the branch Bakyt Dautbekov, President of KAFU, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerezhep Mambetkaziev, First Vice-President of KAFU Zhasulan Baikenov, Yuliya Novitskaya, Serik Abilov, Nataliya Nesterenko.

The meeting participants discussed a number of issues related to promising areas of joint activities, including the development and implementation of a joint advanced training course for English language teachers. The purpose of such a joint project will be to strengthen the relationship between the school and the university, to provide opportunities for continuous professional development of English teachers, and to create conditions for high-quality teaching of English in the region.

After the signing of the Memorandum, the participants of the meeting expressed confidence that the cooperation would be mutually beneficial, and the consolidation of the efforts of the parties would contribute to improving the quality of foreign language education in the region.
