Discussion on Societal Issues: “The Secret Dangers of Vaping”

On October 24, 2025, an open class on “The Secret Dangers of Vaping” was held at the Kazakh-American Free University. It was led by Askar A. Berdikhanov, a lecturer in the Department of Foreign Languages. The event was part of the “Adal Azamat” educational program.
Second-year students from the “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” and “Translation Studies” programs participated in the class. The class included a presentation on the hidden dangers of vaping and the effects of nicotine on the human body. The students also took part in an interactive quiz and completed a group assignment discussing ways to reduce the popularity of vaping among young people.
The participants showed a keen interest in the topic, actively participated in the discussion, and demonstrated excellent English proficiency.
