Discussion with Schoolchildren on Legal Culture and Crime Prevention
On March 11, 2026, Saveliy A. Muzhchil, Head of the KAFU Legal Clinic, met with students of School-Lyceum No. 34 in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The event was aimed at increasing legal literacy and fostering a legal culture among schoolchildren.
During the discussion, the students were introduced to the key aspects of individual legal culture, the concept of legal nihilism, and the concept of offense and its main types. Particular attention was paid to the importance of compliance with the law, developing a respectful attitude toward the law, and understanding the legal consequences of unlawful behavior.
Nikita Bastanogov, a fourth-year student in the Law and Customs Activity program who is currently completing his internship at the KAFU Legal Clinic, also addressed the students. In his speech, he shared his personal experience of living in China, described the specifics of legal regulation and law and order in that country, and provided examples of offenses and the penalties for committing them.
Meetings such as these help develop legal awareness among young people, foster respect for the law, and raise the level of legal culture.
We express our gratitude to the administration and teaching staff of School-Lyceum No. 34 in Ust-Kamenogorsk for their cooperation and active participation in the event.
