Dr. Patrick Mitchell’s Master Class on “Human-Computer Interaction”
On September 24, 2024, the Kazakh-American Free University hosted a master class on “Human Computer Interaction” by Dr. Patrick Mitchell (PhD), an engineer at Intel Corporation (Portland, Oregon) and an honorary professor at KASU.
During the event, Patrick Mitchell shared his many years of experience in the development and optimization of human interaction with computer systems. Particular attention was paid to the latest achievements in the field of artificial intelligence and their application in modern technologies. They also discussed the prospects for the development of future interfaces, their impact on everyday life and work, as well as security and ethics in the creation of innovative technologies.
The master class participants had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss current issues with a world-class expert, which became a valuable experience for all those present. The master class ended with an active discussion and exchange of opinions between students and IT professionals.
