As part of the visit of the Michigan State University delegation to the Kazakh-American Free University on October 20, 2023, 3 international events took place.
An open discussion on the topic “Issues of Leadership and Management in Education” for directors and deputy directors of schools and colleges in the city was held by BetsAnn Smith, Professor at the School of Education at Michigan State University (East Lansing, Michigan, USA).
The discussion covered important topics such as developing leadership skills, managing change, adapting to new technologies and approaches, and strategic planning in education.
The presentation on “Crafting Persuasive Literature Reviews in the Era of Smart Apps and Generative AI” was given by Douglas K. Hartman, Professor at the Michigan State University School of Education (East Lansing, Michigan, USA). The professor shared knowledge and experience in creating compelling literature reviews, especially in the context of the use of intelligent applications and generative artificial intelligence. This topic is becoming increasingly relevant in the modern scientific environment, where technology plays an important role in research work.
