Financial Literacy Seminar at KAFU
The main goal of the meeting was to improve the financial literacy of students and faculty, as well as develop skills for protecting against modern financial threats.
The seminar addressed the following pressing issues:
• How to recognize fraudulent schemes in banking and finance;
• How to safely use banking products and online services;
• What actions should be taken in the event of suspicious transactions;
• The role of financial literacy in building personal security and a successful future.
Experts shared practical advice, real-life examples, and helpful recommendations, and answered questions from the audience.
The students showed keen interest: they actively participated in the discussions, shared their own examples, and clarified details related to security in everyday life. Such meetings are not only an opportunity to gain new knowledge but also an important step in fostering a responsible approach to finance. It is especially significant for our university that such events are held in collaboration with leading banks and government agencies.
We express our gratitude to «Freedom Bank Kazakhstan» JSC and the specialists of the National Bank of Kazakhstan for the valuable experience, as well as to all the students and faculty who participated in the seminar.
KAFU always supports initiatives aimed at developing practical knowledge and will continue to organize meetings that help our students become confident, knowledgeable, and prepared for the challenges of the modern world.
