Gangster Party: Freshmen Initiation

On October 6, 2023, the long-awaited freshmen initiation in “Gangster Party” style took place at the Kazakh-American Free University. This solemn event traditionally marks the beginning of the academic year and helps newcomers feel like part of the large and friendly academic family of KAFU.

Traditionally, the First Vice-President of KAFU, Zh.E. Baykenov, delivered congratulations. He wished the students successful studies.

“Initiation is not just a traditional event, it is an opportunity for our students to create long-term friendships, as well as realize the importance of higher education,” noted Zhasulan Erbolovich.

KAFU Vice-President for International Relations and Cooperation, Daniel Ballast, also shared his congratulations. He organized a fun quiz and puzzle game.

The activists of the KAFU Student Development Center have prepared a rich program for first-year students, including bright concert performances and exciting competitions.

Initiation to KAFU is not only a celebration, but also the beginning of an exciting journey into the world of knowledge, opportunities and success.
