Guest Lecture by Associate Professor of Turan University (Almaty)

On November 12, 2025, as part of an international scientific congress, Sergey V. Patashkov, PhD in Law and Associate Professor of the Higher School of Law at Turan University (Almaty), delivered a guest lecture for faculty and students of the Department of Law and International Relations on the topic “Organizational and Legal Aspects of Using Artificial Intelligence in Combating Crime.” The lecture was held as part of the Mutual Cooperation Agreement in the Provision of Educational Services between the universities.

In his speech, Sergey V. Patashkov discussed the concept of artificial intelligence, its application, and the legal framework for its use in Kazakhstan and other countries. He also detailed how artificial intelligence can be used to combat crime in Kazakhstan and abroad.
