Guest Lecture by KAFU Lecturer at Tashkent State Law University
On November 13, 2025, Saveliy A. Muzhchil, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Law and International Relations and Master of Laws (Law), gave a guest lecture on “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on International Humanitarian Law” for fourth-year students of the Faculty of Joint Educational Programs at Tashkent State Law University (Uzbekistan) and Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod (Russian Federation). This lecture was held as part of the Memorandum of Understanding between KAFU and TSLU, and was initiated by the Department of English and EU Law, as well as the Department of International Law and Human Rights at Tashkent State Law University.
During the lecture, students were introduced to the concepts of artificial intelligence and international humanitarian law, the legal basis for the impact of artificial intelligence on autonomous weapons systems, and the legal and ethical issues of using artificial intelligence in international humanitarian law.
