Guest Lecture on the Topic “Career Opportunities and Professions in the Bank: How to Start Your Path in the Financial Sector”

On February 19, 2025, a guest lecture was held for students of the Business department at the Kazakh-American Free University on the topic “Career Opportunities and Professions in the Bank: How to Start Your Path in the Financial Sector”.

The speaker was Shynar A. Zhikebaeva – Head of the Retail Business Center of the East Kazakhstan branch of JSC «Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan». During the lecture, Shynar spoke about the prospects of the modern banking services market, presented Halyk Bank products and highlighted key professions in demand in the banking sector. She paid special attention to the intricacies of writing a resume, successfully passing an interview, as well as current issues of cybersecurity and financial literacy of young people.
