Guest Lecture “Using Artificial Intelligence in Science”

On September 23, 2024, a guest lecture on “Using Artificial Intelligence in Science” was held at the Kazakh-American Free University as part of the events to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the university. The speaker was Stefan Noack, a doctoral student at KAFU, a research fellow at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau (Germany).

The lecture covered key aspects of using artificial intelligence in various scientific disciplines, including data analysis, automation of scientific research and modeling of complex systems. Stefan Noack spoke about how artificial intelligence can significantly speed up the process of processing large amounts of data, which is especially important for scientific research in the context of growing volumes of information.

The speaker shared his experience of working with the latest technologies in this area and discussed the prospects for the development of AI in science. The lecture aroused active interest among students, which was confirmed by a lively discussion after the speech.
