Historic Step for KAFU and Student Entrepreneurship!
As part of the International Scientific Congress “Humanization of Education in the Digital World: Professional and Ethical Guidelines for International Partnership,” a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with ENACTUS Kazakhstan on November 12, 2025, at the Kazakh-American Free University.
This event officially inducted KAFU into the ENACTUS international community—an organization that has been uniting students from around the world for over 30 years, inspiring them to develop entrepreneurship, social responsibility, and sustainable development.
Today, ENACTUS unites over 70,000 students from 35 countries, and in Kazakhstan, the movement has been successfully operating since 1995, supporting student teams launching social, environmental, and economic projects, participating in national and international championships, and shaping a new generation of leaders.
The signing ceremony was attended by:
– Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziyev, President of KAFU, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
– Albina M. Yerzhanova, President of ENACTUS Kazakhstan, PhD;
– representatives of KAFU management, international faculty, international experts, and university students.
Thanks to the signed Memorandum, KAFU students receive:
– access to an international social entrepreneurship platform;
– mentoring support and resources for launching real projects;
– the opportunity to present their ideas at national and international competitions.
The partnership with ENACTUS Kazakhstan has become an important stage in the development of practice-oriented and socially responsible education in East Kazakhstan, opening up new opportunities for students and strengthening KAFU’s status in the international academic community.
