Project “Generation of the Future: Leaders of the 21st Century”
The Kazakhstan-American Free University, a higher education institution of international partnership, celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024. Throughout its history, the university has consistently fulfilled its core mission: the successful implementation of a unique training technology for a new generation of professionals, ensuring Kazakhstan’s strong competitiveness in a rapidly changing world.
A key component of the international partnership model embodied in KAFU’s activities is the university’s readiness to share concepts, ideas, resources, and experience for the sake of achieving quality in higher education. In an era of globalization, education becomes the primary bridge for full-scale international cooperation and a natural sphere for such collaboration.
To mark this milestone, KAFU is launching the project “Generation of the Future: Leaders of the 21st Century”. The project aims to foster the creative potential of school and TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) students and to promote the idea of shaping leaders for the 21st century. The initiative includes participation in Olympiads, competitions, intellectual salons, and other events in accordance with an approved action plan.
The permanent President of KAFU is Erezhep Alkhairovich Mambetkaziyev, an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and multiple international academies, Doctor of Sciences, Professor, Honorary Doctor of Natural Sciences, and recipient of the “Parasat” Order. A prominent figure in education, he is the founder of the third state university in the republic (EKSU) and the first private university of international partnership (KAFU). He is also the author of numerous innovations in the reform of the university education system and science, which have been successfully implemented throughout the country.
We believe that the success of the project “Generation of the Future: Leaders of the 21st Century” will serve not only as a testament to the authority of our anniversary university, but also as a symbol of progressive trends in shaping a generation of 21st-century leaders capable of transforming the modern world for the better.
