International Scientific and Practical Conference
“Information Systems and Technologies of the Agro-Industrial Complex and Industrial-Civil Society” at the I. I. Ivanov Kursk Agrarian University, Kursk, Russia
On October 10, 2024, the I. I. Ivanov Kursk State Agrarian University hosted an international scientific and practical conference dedicated to information technologies and artificial intelligence, which was attended by representatives of the Kazakh-American Free University: Yulia V. Trofimova – Senior Lecturer of the Business Department and Danil A. Fedotov – 4th-year student of the educational program 6B06101 “Information Systems”.
At this conference, our university presented a project to combat cyberbullying called NorLink, which allows you to limit the manifestation of any type of bullying on the Internet, including the recognition of audio messages, text, images, documents and videos.
Cyberbullying is a form of aggression that occurs in the digital environment when one person or group of people harasses, insults or humiliates another person using online communications such as social networks, instant messengers and email. In recent years, cyberbullying has become one of the most pressing issues among young people and students, as its consequences can be no less destructive than in real life.
Our university has recognized the severity of this problem and developed a system using artificial intelligence to prevent any negative media content. This system automatically analyzes messages and posts in real time, recognizing potentially aggressive or offensive statements, which allows for timely response and prevention of cyberbullying.
The conference brought together leading scientists, business representatives and students, providing them with a platform to exchange experiences and present their research and projects aimed at developing technologies and adapting them to modern conditions. Following the results of this conference, our participants were awarded first-degree diplomas for online presentation of the report and active participation in the work on active promotion of innovative solutions and technologies in the field of information systems and artificial intelligence. Following the results of the conference, an article will be published with an ISBN assignment and subsequent article-by-article placement in the Russian Science Citation Index.
